McCarran-Ferguson Insurance Reform Passes House – Watch for Future Calls to Action in Senate

Sep 22, 2020

Thank you to the hundreds of VDA members who took swift action to contact their members of Congress about the Competitive Health Insurance Reform Act. One of our priorities as an association is to be nimble and quickly respond when the voices of our members can make the most difference.

From the ADA’s Mike Graham: On September 21, the House passed H.R. 1418, the Competitive Health Insurance Reform Act! The bill passed by a voice vote which means that no recorded vote was taken.

We want to thank our members who sent emails to their Representatives both today and in previous calls to action. ADA advocacy and the action of our members made this vote possible. We will now turn our efforts toward the Senate. Please look for future calls to action to reach out to your Senators to encourage them to pass this bill as well.
