CODA Hearing on Proposed Standards Revisions This Thursday, October 10

Oct 8, 2024

The Commission on Dental Accreditation will hold a virtual hearing on proposed changes to standards this Thursday, October 10. The purpose of a hearing on standards is to provide individuals, institutions, and organizations that will be affected by the document with an opportunity to comment. The goal of the hearing is to hear as many varied points of view on the proposed documents as possible.

The VDA has been part of a coalition of state dental associations urging CODA to loosen its overly burdensome restrictions on student to faculty ratios in allied dental programs and faculty requirements. VDA CEO Ryan Dunn will be commenting on behalf of the 16th District of the ADA.
