Anyone who provides health or administrative services to Medicare enrollees must satisfy general compliance and FWA training requirements, including Medicare Advantage providers who administer the Part D drug benefit or provide health care services to Medicare Advantage enrollees. The training intends to help providers and their staff detect, correct, and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. CMS offers web-based educational programs on fraud abuse that can benefit VDA members and their staff.
