We have received several inquiries from members asking if the update to Governor Northam’s Executive Order 67 issued on Friday, Nov. 13 has an impact on dentistry. It does not. 

You can find a summary of his executive order, which includes a limit of 25 individuals for in-person gatherings, an expanded mask mandate, on-site alcohol curfew, and increased enforcement, here.

The VDA will continue to engage with the administration to ensure that dentistry is recognized as an essential health care service and that dentists are able to continue caring for their patients.
