Virginia Dental Association asks Governor Youngkin to Sign Dental Insurance Transparency Legislation
Virginia is poised to join the small but growing number of states that require dental loss ratio disclosure from insurance companies. Following more than a year of advocacy from the VDA and extensive work with the Bureau of Insurance, this legislation will require new disclosure and transparency from the insurance companies that can inform future decisions from patients, employers, and policymakers.
Governor Glenn Youngkin now has the opportunity to act on the bill. The VDA sent an official letter asking Governor Youngkin to sign the legislation.
With a short time to act, will you send your own message to the Governor asking him to support dental insurance transparency?
