On Saturday, February 22, 2014, VDA member Dr. Ron Tankersley was awarded as the 2014 recipient of the Virginia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (VSOMS) Distinguished Service Award in Williamsburg, Virginia. His son and fellow VDA and VSOMS member, Dr. Ken Tankersley, presented him with the award on behalf of VSOMS during the VSOMS 2014 Annual Meeting at the Williamsburg Lodge.
