The VDA Recognizes Commonwealth Endodontics Doctors for their Generous VADPAC Contributions

July 09, 2014

On July 1st, the Virginia Dental Association (represented by Laura Givens, Director of Legislative and Public Policy and Leslie Pinkston, Director of Membership) presented the doctors from Commonwealth Endodontics with a sketch of the Virginia State Capitol Building signed by Speaker of the House Bill Howell.  This gift was to express the VDA's appreciation for their generous contributions to the Virginia Dental Political Action Committee (VADPAC).  Each of the doctors, Dr. Steve Barbieri, Dr. Ronald Vranas, Dr. Timothy Finkler, Dr. Madelyn Gambrel, Dr. Harold Martinez and Dr. Steve Forte, contributed to Apollonia Club, which is the highest level of giving.  These members obviously realize that funds are an essential ingredient in achieving political success for your patients and for the profession of dentistry.

If you have also contributed to VADPAC this year, thank you very much!  Throughout the past few years, VADPAC has been one of the top performing state PACs in Virginia raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for legislative races.  This is very impressive and we hope to continue this trend.  That will only be possible if all of you continue to contribute and encourage your colleagues to do the same.  Rest assured our adversaries (insurance companies and others) are keeping a close eye on how VADPAC is performing and looking for any sign of weakness or fatigue in our members’ commitment to protecting the profession.

2015 will be an important election year in Virginia and, if VADPAC does not get the contribution support it needs, the insurance companies and others could very well be bolstered heading into the 2015 General Assembly Session.

If you have not made a contribution or would like to increase your contribution, don’t wait a moment longer and give TODAY by CLICKING HERE.  Whether you give $1,010 (Apollonia Club), $685 (Governor's Club), $285 (Commonwealth Club), $100, or another amount, take responsibility and join the majority of your colleagues and be an advocate and champion for our profession.
