Searching for health insurance options? The ADA can help!
Calls to the VDA office suggest a possible ADA Dues payment scam. We've seen this come up every few years, a VDA member gets a call or email suggesting that they have not paid their ADA membership dues. The communication will direct the member to a web address to make the payment.
Currently, the ADA/VDA is NOT issuing any calls to members to collect dues. If you have any questions regarding your payment status, please contact our Director of Membership, Leslie Pinkston at firstname.lastname@example.org or 804-523-2189.

The Affordable Care Act substantially expands oral health care coverage for children. The ADA estimates that it will reduce by 55 percent the number of children without dental coverage.
The VDA thanks all members and VCU dental students who attended the Day on the Hill on January 17, 2014. We were very lucky to have Delegate Bobby Orrock (R-54) speak to the group during breakfast and we appreciate him taking time out of his very busy schedule to attend and meet with our members.
As result of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), some ADA members began receiving notices stating that their medical insurance would be cancelled as of December 31, 2013. The Council on Members Insurance and Retirement Plans (CMIRP) saw this as an opportunity to enhance member value, as well as to reinforce constituents’ insurance offerings, and began investigating private health insurance exchange options.
